LIFI BASED INDOOR NAVIGATION FOR BLIND

LIFI BASED INDOOR NAVIGATION FOR BLIND

Indoor navigation is convenient for everyone, and it is especially indispensable for the visually impaired. We proposed such a navigation system for the visually impaired .LED lights emit visible light with location data and a embedded system or smartphone with a visible light receiver receives the data. The embedded system or smartphone calculates the optimal path to a designation and speaks to the visually impaired through a headphone.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:
Here it consists of two units:
     1. Transmitter unit
     2. Receiver unit
The transmitter unit is fitted to the wall/ceiling. In the transmitter the modulated information is transmitted through LED. The receiver unit demodulates the encoded binary data and give the response in the form of voice to the person . The receiver unit consist a photo transistor which receives the information from the LED connected to the transmitter. The information consist of location, and whenever receiver module comes in the range of that transmitter area than corresponding location message is send to receiver is stored in the microcontroller and processed further to initiate voice to guide the person and vibrator motor to navigate the person which can assist people at indoor places.

Inverted Linear Quadtree: Efficient Top K Spatial Keyword Search

Inverted Linear Quadtree: Efficient Top K Spatial Keyword Search ABSTRACT: In this paper, With advances in geo-positioning technologies and geo-location services, there are a rapidly growing amount of spatiotextual objects collected in many applications such as location based services and social networks, in which an object is described by its spatial location and a set of keywords (terms). Consequently, the study of spatial keyword search which explores both location and textual description of the objects has attracted great attention from the commercial organizations and research communities. In the paper, we study two fundamental problems in the spatial keyword queries: top k spatial keyword search (TOPK-SK), and batch top k spatial keyword search (BTOPK-SK). Given a set of spatio-textual objects, a query location and a set of query keywords, the TOPK-SK retrieves the closest k objects each of which contains all keywords in the query. BTOPK-SK is the batch processing of sets...
